Franklin Roosevelt in the 1940 presidential elections. Ironically, campaigning
for the Republican nomination was the first time Willkie had run for public
office! Although Roosevelt defeated Willkie’s anti-war campaign soundly, some
great video from the presidential elections still remains. This DVD contains two
pro-Willkie films from 1940.
